Getting Licensed!
So this week, we are sending out our license application to the Missouri Department of Agriculture! We will be applying for a license to operate a small shelter out of our home (for the time being). We will take in cats and probably be able to have up to 10 or 12 at a time. We will also take in small breed dogs when necessary. In our area of Missouri, there are actually NO cat rescues!! :-( So for us to start off small and start off as primarily a cat rescue is amazing! Sadly, the need is much higher for canine rescue. We work daily and consistently on our research for a site that will enable us to fulfill our desire to help these animals find a forever home.

Well done! So proud of you for taking this on. No small deed. My family lives in Branson. I'm there usually a couple of weeks each year. Blow a kiss for me out your window for them. Gosh I miss them terribly! Can't wait to follow your adventure. Holly
